We remodeled 51,000 sf of an existing two-story office building for GoDaddy. The building was formerly used by Parsons Technology, then Rockwell Collins. The project began with minor demolition work of some walls and ceilings. We also cut floor slabs for new plumbing. The scope of the project also included building two major communication rooms, a call center, new rest rooms, break rooms and updating all finishes throughout (paint, carpet, furniture, etc.) New walls were constructed with metal stud partitions.
In 2015, we began a second project for GoDaddy, which included a two-phase, complete remodel. To make the project even more challenging, the building remained occupied during the project. We added 10,000 sf by converting warehouse space into a second floor, complete with a functional slide for speedy transportation between floors. GoDaddy is also adding entertainment areas with putting greens and ping-pong tables.
This project also included all new mechanical and electrical service and new windows. Some of the new windows required openings to be cut in the precast.
