Project Overview
When Antioch Christian Church decided to open up a new location at the Stoney Point YMCA, it was a challenge we couldn’t pass up. We helped convert the pool area into a new sanctuary with theater seating, an LED screen, and baptistry. Crews removed existing CMU bearing walls, pool walls and floor, pool equipment and the boiler system.
The existing precast roof structure had to be temporarily supported during this process. The existing sewer main had to be cut out and replaced outside the building and repaired by the street. The gymnasium and classrooms will continue to be utilized by the congregation.
