Project Overview
This highly-fortified data center was constructed with precast concrete that can withstand 160 mph winds. The office portion of the project is steel frame. The plans called for redundant (n+1) electrical and mechanical systems. The facility is all electric. No heat is introduced because of the heat created from the computers in the facility. Because this was a LEED project, we used engineered backfill instead of limestone under the building and 55% of the precast concrete was recycled.
